East Africa: During the dry season (late June-Oct) with excellent wildlife viewing opportunities & the Great Migration from July-Sep. Southern Africa: During the dry months from May-Sep & to see Victoria Falls at its fullest visit Nov-April. North Africa: During the spring March-May and fall Sep-Nov. Madagascar: During the dry cooler months from April-Oct. Rainforest Regions: Gorilla trekking is best from Dec-Feb & June-Sep.
Seychelles: Nov-March with intermittent heavy rains & high humidity. Mauritius: Nov-April but even during the rainy season, there are often sunny days. The Maldives: experiences 2 main seasons: the dry northeast monsoon (Nov-March) & the wet southwest monsoon which brings more rainfall (May-Sep). Madagascar: Nov-April. The eastern side of the island receives more rainfall, while the west and southwest are drier. Zanzibar & Comoros: March-May & Nov-Dec. During these periods.
